Applicants must accumulate at least 1,095 days (3 years) of physical presence in Canada during the 5 years immediately preceding their application date.

Application Steps & Clearances
- Prohibitions & Clearances: Applicants must not have a unexpired criminal record or be under a removal order in Canada.
- Oath of Citizenship: Upon application approval, successful candidates aged 14+ must take the Oath of Citizenship to officially receive their Canadian Citizenship Certificate.
